Overview
Paper presentations and most other conference events will be held in the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at Concordia University, 1455 De Maisonneuve Blvd West. JMSB is on the south-west corner of Guy and De Maisonneuve.
One block south is St. Catherine Street where there are numerous small restaurants and shops. If you do not have breakfast at your hotel, you can find plenty of places to eat here.
Another block south is Rene-Levesque Boulevard. The Hotel Maritime is on the north-east corner of Guy and Rene-Levesque. Le Nouvel is one block west of these hotels, at the corner of Rene-Levesque and St. Mathieu. The Grey Nuns is on St. Mathieu between St. Catherine and Rene-Levesque.
The Novotel is four blocks east of Guy, between St. Catherine and Rene-Levesque.
The Marahaja, where the banquet will be held, is on Rene-Levesque, just east of the Maritime.
Delegates need to make their own hotel arrangements. We negotiate rates that are better than rack rates, but hotels convey some of their unsold rooms to room consolidators (such as Hotels.com) who may be able to provide you with even better rates. The rates shown below are guaranteed only until two months before the conference. After that cutoff date, the hotels may (and most likely will) sell these same rooms at a higher rate.
To obtain these special rates, you will need to make your reservation directly with the hotel using the method shown below. These rates are non-commissionable; this means that your school's travel agent will be unlikely to get these rates for you. If you stay at one of these four conference accommodations, we will deliver much of your conference materials to your hotel so that you can have it when you check in. Unless reservations are cancelled at least two days before, your room will be held and your credit card charged for the first night. All these hotels are within an easy walk to the conference.
All fees are in Canadian dollars. Tax will be added to the rates below and it is about 20% (currently Room Tax 3.5% + 5% GST + 9.5% PST per room night). The telephone country code for Canada is +1. The city code is (514).
